Housefull 2 has exactly the same mix of stars, foreign locations, farcical plot and spectacularly dim-witted comedy as the first Housefull

Hindustan Times

Housefull 2 is for four-year-olds who don’t know any better. For anyone with taste, or anyone seeking genuine laughs, there’s nothing here

Beyond the loud slapstick, it does have interesting situational humour but it gets more kiddish than genuinely mad

No plot (don’t be silly), decibel levels cranked high, situations careering from one gag to another, characters spewing rapidfire lines which are meant to make you guffaw

Indian Express

Housefull 2 is shamefully bad

Rediff

Silly, juvenile, stupid but fun if you are easily amused

The Hindu

You will have to endure a gamut of nonsense that seems to last for eternity at over two-and-a-half hours

Mumbai Mirror

An unbearable and offensive film with a convoluted plot comprising too many noisy characters

Housefull 2 is neither fully gratifying nor a house-of-horror like its prequel

Times of India

It milks every situation for the possibility of misogynistic, racist and classist humour, the more far-fetched the better

Firstpost

The tasteless and talentless bunch is back, bigger and bustier

India Today

Housefull 2 may not be a good film but it certainly is better than the worst (namely its first part)

nowrunning

A madcap entertainer that gets the viewer giggling, yelling, whistling and applauding
