Rajeev Masand Reviews IBN

If anything, the film is unintentionally comical, thanks in no small part to its clunky dialogue, bizarre characters, and ham-fisted direction

The real pleasure in 'Ishaqzaade' lies in its colloquial language, believable characters, and lived-in locations. Much of the film's strengths come undone by the use of such tired cliches as the religious differences that stand in the way of true love, and the sacrificial hooker with a heart of gold

Jannat 2 isn't all bad; in fact there are portions that are eminently watchable

Fatso never exploits its full potential, and opts for a far-too-convenient resolution

Awfully boring for a film that promises speed and thrills.

Surefooted at the start, and disintegrates into a trite, preachy affair in the second half. The film can't seem to make the ideas work as a perfect whole.

Housefull 2 is for four-year-olds who don’t know any better. For anyone with taste, or anyone seeking genuine laughs, there’s nothing here

A bore-a-thon of a movie

Boring and disappointing. Except the two leads, none of the characters stand out.

For a film about characters at the crossroads of their lives, this one leaves you lost for directions
