FKS takes the emotional variance in a human being for granted, which reduces the characters played by Joshi and Irani to cropped versions of ordinary mortals. Blame it on Indian roads or traffic problems, the Ferrari doesn't quite offer the ride it is expected to. It is much slower than its speed and often relies more on its owner than its self-esteem.

Ferrari Ki Sawaari is worth a watch in the theaters, just for the love with which it is put together and the warmth with which you come out. Who would have thought we'd be getting a positive lesson in parenting from a Hindi film and that too at the hands of Sharman Joshi and Satyadeep Mishra?

Many small joys makes you happier than a bigger one. Not only you but several hearts around. Just look at the brighter side of the life. Such is Vidhu Vinod Chopra's latest offering Ferrari Ki Sawaari, directed by Rajesh Mapuskar. No grand ambition, no superstar. Many small characters with huge hearts makes you feel rich good, if you see at the brighter side ignoring the subduing tad melodrama.

Word of mouth In times of such chaos releasing in the name of cinema a film like Ferrari Ki Sawaari is the balm that can soothe the senses and calm the cynic in us.

Rating 3.5 (Good)

Ticket Meter Worth a family visit to the theatre.

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s reputation precedes him. Yes, that reputation – the one of making good, sensible little films. With Ferrari ki Sawaari though I’m disappointed – it is a decent enough film, given that crap abounds, but isn’t a comedy or even very believable. Also since it was touted as kid-friendly, I was expecting a carefree, fun-loving romp. It isn’t that . . .
