How do I become an editor?
1. Hard But Sure Path: When your points reach 100, you will be automatically promoted to an editor.
2. Not So Easy and Not So Sure Path: Write such stunning reviews that not making you an editor will leave us with egg on our faces
3. Easy and Almost Sure Path: If you have a blog/site where you post well written movie reviews regularly you are an ideal editor. You need to have written at least 2 Hindi movie reviews in the last 4 months. To join us send a mail to contact@reviewgang.com. The current set of editors, will then decide on your eligibility.
How are points calculated?
When an editor mark any of your reviews as helpful,you will receive 5 points. If the review is marked unhelpful then 3 points will be deducted from your total points.
Where can I see my points?
After logging in, click on your name displayed on the top right.This will display your profile where you can see your points. Every user starts out with 20 points.
What can a user do?
A user can rate movies, write reviews or mark other reviews as helpful or not helpful.(No points will be awarded or deducted from the author of the review)
What can an editor do?
An editor can do everything a user can. Also an editor can award points or deduct points by marking reviews as helpful and unhelpful respectively. If the editor has a review blog, he/she can also link to it and post just the summary of the review in reviewgang
