Through the promos of the film, Sachin “Jackass” Tichkule promised us a road full of potholes. The same trailers announced that the film is the product of Priyadarshan’s insane mind. The two pointers were enough to give me an idea that this is going to be a tough watch. But little did I know that the potholes would be spread over a marathon distance and the reference to Priyan’s insanity was humbly understated. All in all, Khatta Meetha makes Priyan’s last, Bumm Bumm Bole seem like a Swarovski limited edition masterpiece.

A low class movie. Fun, but shit plotline!

Bullshit... bullshit thats wht the the movie is.....The movie starts of with Akshay praying in front of Lord krishna, but even Krishna cant save this mindless(well most of priyadarshans comedy movies r ) film.

The plot:- very confusing ....Its about a road contractor and how he deals with the muncipal corporation, his family members & his ex girlfriend ....

Scenes to look out for:- all the scenes which has Rajpal yadav & Akshay Kumar together are just superb.Painting at Asranis Bungalow is good,Asrani getting confused on multiple phone calls is also hillarious. The road roller scene is another good scene with jonny lever doing his best & this is the best scene in the movie. And the talks between Kulbushan Karbanda & Akshay is a also filmed well.

Spoil sport :- The political angel given to the movie is just a waste. There was no need for gving the movie a dramatic twist...The viewing would have been really good if the movie had focused only on the contractor and his problems with the projects...There was no need for the Tinu Anand ,Urvashi sharma, Makrand Despande track..They just provide the unnecessary twist which spoiled the movie.

Performance:- Well its Akshay Kumar who just makes the character so believeable.Pls Akshay dont play the college going Guy again ever in ur career.

Rajpal Yadav is also very good in all the scenes..especially in the scenes where is goes to paint at Asrani house, the othere one is when he tries to peek at Trisha while shes in the bathroom and gets beaten by Neeraj Vora.

Asrani has few scenes & he does well.

Johny Lever as the road roller driver is just superb and he proves that he's still the best in the business.

Kubushan Karbanda, Aruna Irani are also appealing as father & Mother of Akshay

Its better not to speak of the other performances ...

cinematography by V. Manikandan is good and brings the feel of the village .Music by Pritam is also good.

Priyadarshan has really disappointed this time. His direction is good , but the script lets him down completely.

Final Verdict..watch it on DvD ...
