It's warm and can make you nostalgic. It brings out irony that is part of everyday life. It comments on a blistering issue in society, but it doesn't let the issue take over the film. But it is also very slow and predictable.

Survival of spirit of honesty innocence and truth is #StanleyKaDabba.I cried again this friday after #IAM on song Jhula Jhule. Stanley suffering child labor hotel leftover food becomes his strength his honesty and innocence winning over friends teachers and even Khadoos, a very moving and a very positive film.

It's one of those movies that is more of an experience than anything else. If this doesn't remind you of your classroom as a kid, I don't know what will. Heart warming without excessive attempts to assault your tear-ducts, will make you smile, more from nostalgia than anything.

Also, to the reviewer Manish above me, WTF man, you gave away the PLOT. That's the twist of the movie. So if by chance you scrolled to the bottom of this page first, ***SPOILER ALERT ON THE POST ABOVE THIS ONE***

Very simplistic film. Yes, it has heart but not a great piece of cinema really. Half way into the movie, it becomes predictable and you can start seeing the writers working overtime. Just ok.
